In the illustrations that the Mexican Ale De la Torre carries out, the feminine aspect is of great importance because she uses it as a form of self-recognition, acceptance and healing.
His work is inspired by the music he listens to, what he reads, Mexican culture, his dreams, cycling and nature.
This artist, who is also extremely passionate about books, likes to use traditional and digital techniques that allow her to create more textures and details.
Today ale de la torre is one of the talented artists who are part of the independent and itinerant project AURORA, so we invite you to get to know her a little better through Bio FAHRENHEIT°.

I have a very special love for art and books. My work is inspired by the music I listen to, what I read, the Mexican culture, my dreams, cycling and nature.

The quiet places, the beach or the forest.
Three creators you admire.
I think my inspiration comes from everywhere: movies, food, books, travel, colors, textures, family, friends, self-love, documentaries, pain, bike rides, and walks in the woods. There are many artists that I admire and that are definitely a huge motivation to keep working and improving.
What does creating mean to you?
I am very introverted and from the outset it is a way of communicating what I am, how I feel, what I like, what hurts me and what gives me happiness.
What is the most important thing in your day to day?
I love to ride a bike, go to the hill or walk around the city on weekends. I also like to walk, I can spend whole afternoons walking, going to museums or taking photos, reading to get out of my mind for a while to collect other ideas for my work.
Something you want to add.
Recently the feminine aspect has gained great importance in my work as a form of self-recognition, acceptance and healing.
