The name of the artist that we will talk about today is Yunchul Kim and is known for bringing to life imposing facilities that are, if one seeks to define them, on the border between technology, chemistry, physics, robotics, astronomy and music.

On his own website he admits that investigates the artistic potential of fluid dynamics and photonic crystals in the context of magnetohydrodynamics. Something simply complex to understand for mere mortals.

His utopian installations have earned him the Arts award at CERN, but talking about Yunchul's achievements seems redundant. Also, talking about his work is even more difficult due to the amount of words and comparisons needed to try to capture it.

Is something steampunk, but uses state of the art technology. It's like a book by Umberto Eco or a complex movie by David Lynch, which fascinates so many.

If we are honest, its facilities seem to have come from the set of some movie of science fiction Or from some brilliant scientist's lab.

Yunchul Kim manipulates the materials in such a natural way that you take it for granted, not giving a second thought to all the research behind it.

But that, if we're being honest, is the definition of good art, right? A pianist never says how much he studied or a good dancer how many hours he rehearsed a choreography, because it must seem that his talent flows spontaneously.

Art is generally a dream, somewhat surreal, but through his scientific approach, Yunchul Kim turns technology into the latest art form.

Raised as a musician, Yunchul Kim demonstrates rock star seduction skills: his art is seductive, magnetic, mesmerizing, and most surprisingly, downright humble.

Yunchul Kim mesmerizes our minds and souls in a way that only someone with such a deep understanding of the universe could.

His multidisciplinary approach transforms him into a magician of the senses, effortlessly playing outside the bounds of ordinary imagination, which is simply mesmerizing.
