Art is present in all areas of Mónica Moussali's life, so her universe creative finds inspiration in his daily life.

According to the edge itself, which Over the years, she has also become a prominent business woman along with her daughters Rebeca and Arlete., his way of seeing the world changed completely when he learned the true power and scope of art.

"The love of art is a search for compositions to endow the work, through abstraction and movement, a different meaning, it is a different look, it gives us a chance to contemplate”, explains Mónica with a huge smile because she physically emanates her passion for what she does.

Over the years, Mónica Moussali has become a reference in the world of art, especially when it comes to XNUMXst century murals, in which the experimentación with materials and shapes is crucial.

At the beginning of her career, when this artist was still searching for her style, she found in the fractality of nature and Islamic geometric figures an inexhaustible source of inspiration. inspiration and which ultimately gave rise to his unique style.

“It always caught my attention because Islamics don't have images, everything is geometric, and I was attracted to that part of where you could go because you formed like kaleidoscopes.

“By means of a simple figure, by moving it, by turning it, then I would form different compositions. So what I loved is that millions of compositions could come out of a figure, a totally different universe, thousands of shapes that totally change the composition just by turning them”.

In the murals that this artist creates, which could also be seen as installations, concept and color play key roles. For each piece, he carries out a deep (and very meticulous) study of color, since a composition can be completely transformed thanks to this important element.

But the success that this artist has achieved would not be the same without the talent of her daughters Arlete and Rebeca, who have literally made up the perfect team due to the strengths that each one has.

Although at first Mónica was the one who embarked on the adventure of creating completely alone, the fact that Rebeca joined forces with her gave a complete turn to the artist's vision thanks to the fact that it provided her with greater structure and order in operational and financial issues. .

“I always asked Rebeca for help because my weak part is the financial part and she is very good. I stuck to what I liked, but many times it was something very expensive or it was beyond my budget and Rebe was always the one who landed me.

“She was the one who told me that because we didn't get together, that I should do all the creation and work, and she all the customers, finances, suppliers and structure,” Monica details.

The missing piece of this team, that of innovation and experimentation with materials, technology and proposals, came when Arlete, shortly after graduating from university, also joined the project that his mother had started several years before.

Mónica Moussali works hand in hand with two of her daughters: Rebeca and Arlete.

Like the murals they create, these three powerful and creative women could shine on their own due to the talents they have, but being part of this collective, the composition of talents is simply extraordinary and as a consequence this is reflected in the quality of his sophisticated pieces.

There is still much to learn about this trio and their eclectic work, since behind each work there are processes that have gradually been refined, as well as several stories, which we hope you will discover in the next weekly installment (which will be four in total). about his experimental mural art and all that goes with it.
