Beck began singing as a child in the church choir in his neighborhood and a little later it was that he decided to enter the Wimbledon School of Art. But for this artist the above was not enough, so after listening to Les Paul, he decided to learn the guitar.
With the British group The Yardbirds he only lasted a year, but he recorded multiple hits such as Over Under Sideways Down y Shapes Of Things, where he used effects to create an atmosphere psychedelic, something quite innovative for that time.
In 1967, he founded The Jeff Beck Group together with singer Rod Stewart and guitarist Ron Wood, before embarking on a long solo career, where he incorporated new genres such as hard rock, Jazz, funky blues and opera.
With this formation he recorded two key albums: Truth (1968) y Beck Ola (1969) in which Beck established the foundations of blues-rock and hard rock.
