George RR Martin is probably one of the novelists most famous in the world because he has sold more than 90 million copies of his books.
Martin, born in 1948, began writing as a boy in Bayonne, New Jersey, selling monster stories to other children for pennies.
In high school, he wrote superhero stories for zines. She fell in love with science fiction and boobs after discovering comics as a young reader.
Shortly after he met Tolkien and this one basically blew his mind off. Hence she just couldn't stop her imagination.

Martin studied journalism at Northwestern University in Illinois and continued to write and sell stories during his time as a conscientious objector to the Vietnam War.
In 1979, he turned to writing full-time, publishing novels including his debut, the space opera Dying of the Light (1977) and the historical tale of vampires fevre dream
He also worked on Hollywood television shows, including The Twilight Zone and the CBS series Beauty and the Beast, as story editor and producer.
But for George RR Martin the above, crazy as it sounds, was not enough since he had always had in his mind the thought that he wanted to try epic fantasy.

"Tolkien had a huge influence on me, but after Tolkien there was a dark period in the history of epic fantasy where there were a lot of terrible Tolkien impersonations," Martin explained in an interview with The Guardian.
The first chapter of Game of Thrones it came to him “out of the blue” in 1991. And since he did not know everything that was on his mind, he even came to think that it could be a short story… which is now a bit ironic, since as we all know, a whole universe was born from there.
In fact, it is interesting to note that the mantra of this famous writer has always been William Faulkner's comment in his Nobel Prize acceptance speech, that the only thing truly worth writing about is the conflict of the human heart with itself and in itself. that Martin is definitely one of the best.
Tolkien put George RR Martin on the right path, but his fantasy style is certainly very different from that of The Lord of the Rings: braver, darker and much less heroic.
