The weekend is about to start and A good plan always it may be to see a couple of movies, but to change the focus of this a bit now you could enjoy films directed by actores and actresses.

History: A gunslinger removed from the life of the crime and with economic difficulties, he accepts one last job with the help of two former colleagues, not without interfering in doing justice to an assaulted prostitute.
Date: This film won four Oscars, including the first two in his entire career. The actor has great recognition for his work as a director, distinguishing his films Los Puentes de Madison, Río Místico, Golpes del Destino, Gran Torino and many more.

Lady Bird
Director: Greta Gerwig.
Act: Saoirse Ronan, Laurie Metcalf, Tracy Letts, and Lucas Hedges.
History: A young student with clear artistic inclinations dreams of going to a university in New York, while dealing with new friends, her mother and herself trying to find her way in life.
Date: This was Gerwig's debut as a director and it turns out she managed to get nominated for five Oscars. The also actress later directed the most recent adaptation of Little Women and will soon premiere the film Barbie.

La vida secreta de Walter Mitty
Director: Ben Stiller.
Act: Ben Stiller, Kristen Wiig, Adam Scott and Patton Oswealt.
History: The employee of a prestigious magazine, who most of the time goes unnoticed and evades his reality by creating fantastic scenarios, must face an incredible journey that will force him to get out of his routine.
Date: The film is based on the homonymous story that James Thurber published in The New Yorker in 1939, and is the second adaptation, the first being a musical comedy from 1947.

Abel
Director: Diego Moon.
Act: Christopher Ruiz-Esparza, Karina Gidi, Geraldine Alejandra, José María Yazpik.
History: In the absence of his father, a boy assumes the role of family leader in his home, an attitude that not only worries his loved ones, but also unexpectedly brings them all closer together.
Date: The film is set in Aguascalientes, a state where Diego Luna lived for a while in his childhood; however, recently the authorities of said entity accused him of not having returned the money they had lent him to film the tape.
