Bahar Yürükoğlu is an American visual artist based in Istanbul who seeks to reconcile her work nature and man creating spaces that he calls neo-scapes.

The blatant use of color, with a genuine appreciation of the material and the playful use of light make up works that draw the viewer's attention to a space where expectations cease to have a normal order.

The play of light and color distinguish the artist's work.

Trips to the Bahar Arctic Circle inspired her to capture the duality of the place in her art, both permanent light 24 hours a day during spring and summer, and total darkness during the months of winter.

His installations, photographs and videos test the capacity of the viewer and demand that the division between the subject and the object be established.
