Miles Aldrige: A prominent surrealist photographer


Miles Aldrige is one of the British favorites of the photography, design and illustration.

His surrealist photographs stand out for the colorful outfits contrasted by the lost look of the women captured.

Aldrige who also addresses sex and death, has exhibitions around the world.

His vivid but disturbing images combine glamor, cinematic narrative, lighting and meticulous attention to detail.

In addition, it collaborates with numerous publications recognized as The New York Times, Vogue Italy, TIME and Numéro.
 

The Aldrige collections are permanently housed in the V&A Museum, London, The National Portrait Gallery, London.

And also The International Center of Photography, New York City.

This prestigious lens born in London at 1964 studied at Central Saint Martins, graphic design and illustration.

Miles worked little as an illustrator and video director until he found his way in the photo.

His work is so recognized that there are several books dedicated to his work, such as I Only Want You To Love Me (2013) and Please return Polaroid (2016)
