La pandemic due to covid-19 it reached us all and modified our lives. Being confined to our homes, big or small, we had to adapt to new circumstances and change habits and routines.
Some people used art to make isolation tolerable. Music, creative writing, films and videos, among others, their consumption skyrocketed while the contingency passed.
How did artists experience confinement? What did contemporary painters paint? What did the authors of the lens photograph? Was life, as we knew it before the pandemic, was it outside or inside of ourselves? creatively manifesting a maddening and terrifying confinement?
Sometimes we forget that creativity comes from inside people, from their thinking and experience, and this is how the Mexican painter demonstrated it to the world. Frida Kahlo who, after his accident, expressed his pain, love, longing, despair and will from his bed.
