This Spanish exhibition combines art, technology and consciousness. And it is that there will be those who think that climate change is a farce, however, many believe the opposite. This incredible expo is presented at the Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico. It opened in February and will be available until June 16.

The Cultural Center of Spain in Mexico presents this itinerary exhibition of Hugo Martínez-Tormo. Although it barely arrives in our country, It was presented in 2017 at the Center del Carme in Valencia, Spain. And it was organized by the Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana.

The romance of pollution

 

From the discovery of two bottles, one in the Albufera Natural Park and another in Cabo de Gata in Spain was its development. AND is that Hugo Martínez-Tormo developed an investigation made up of a series of facilities in which the contamination process is analyzed. In addition, the use given to new technologies is also questioned.

Now, the romantic vision of throwing a bottle into the sea with a message inside is relegated. On the contrary, a more ecological and respectful vision with the environment is obtained and generated. This is how the foundation of this Spanish exhibition was born.

Hugo Martinez-Tormo

 

He was born in Valencia, Spain, in 1979. He is an agricultural engineer and has a degree in Fine Arts. He has a master's degree in Multimedia and Visual Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and from Interface Culture in Linz in Austria.

Thanks to his scientific and artistic training, his work focuses on the relationship between art, science, ecology and technology.. Always, dealing with issues such as the environmental problem and the human tendency towards self-destruction. And she does it from a critical perspective. Regularly, with the use of installations, in addition to using painting, sculpture, video or photography as means of expression. Without a doubt, he is a multidisciplinary and new media artist.

Without a doubt, this Spanish exhibition on art and awareness for our planet is one of the samples that is most needed in our world.
