La second edition of the Desert X AlUla takes place in the desert from Saudi Arabia, so 15 impressive works were displayed in the place to delve, from very different perspectives, into the idea of mirage and oasis.
The impressive creations, which range from works of land art to gigantic interactive sculptures, They were made by 15 international artists who explored the history and culture of the desert.
They include established artists like Shadia Alem, Dana Awartani, Serge Attukwei Clottey, Claudia Comte, Shezad Dawood, and Jim Denevan, to name just a few.
Taking this into account, as well as the exact location, the desert of Alula, the artists created pieces that talk about topics as diverse as the dreams, camouflage, fiction, disappearance/appearance, extraction, illusion and Myths.
