Few places have such an aesthetic as youthful like that of the XYZ Formula Cosmetics flagship store in South Korea.
This place It stands out from the rest due to its imposing façade, but when entering it, it becomes even more interesting due to what sophisticated and ethereal it is.
Both the design of the facade and the interior was developed by the Korean firm WGNB, directed by Sungchil Park and Jong Hwanbaek.
This place, 3 square meters in Seoul, features a design based on wetting and permeability narrative, always maintaining the close relationship between the brand's products and the spatial atmosphere.
Following this idea of permeability and transparency, the façade was defined to stimulate the viewer's interest through perforated panels with a gradient arrangement in a chess-like rhythm.
These allow natural light to enter at certain angles and be blocked at others. The main face becomes a great visual finishing touch and a point of reference at the urban level, imprinting its own unique personality on the architecture.
As to its interior in this prevails the linear gradient in different colors, including the pink, purple, orange and other shades in between.
These details dress the sophisticated space and establish an obvious link with one of the main goals of the brand: create an atmosphere innovative or futuristic, but without losing its warmth.
