Big Branzino, is the floating sauna, which has undoubtedly surprised its users for its innovative proposal, but also for offering the most beautiful views of the Stockholm archipelago.
Designed by Thomas Sandell and Johan Strandlund, from the studio of architects Swedish sandellsandberg architects, is capable of traveling at a speed of five knots.
Big Branzino, built to measure, has as its central point an arch that, at its lowest point, creates the sensation of warmth and closeness to the glow of the fire. However, as the arch rises to the sides, it allows you to admire the stars of the night sky from inside.
Its structure made by hand by the carpenter Leif Persson at Kungsör Shipyard, Sweden, truly offers an impeccable style that on its exterior stands out as a rough pine that blends perfectly with the nature surrounding.
As for the interiors, the furniture is made of western red cedar, due to its excellent characteristics for sauna and outdoor use.
To this is added a table of cedar on the roof terrace, which is collapsible and has brass handles, so it can be stored away when the occasion calls for it.
Big Branzino, which it is built as a single wooden structure on a catamaran steel hull, it exercises its stability in said hull, which is also enabled as storage space.
In this way, the interior is completely minimalist and spacious, providing a totally immersive experience.
The sauna oven, the heart of the boat, was custom designed in close collaboration with the blacksmith, so that the glow of the fire it illuminates the space in all directions, plus it is visible from the outside.
When the night Comes, the roof terrace is subtly illuminated by the hidden LED light along the top of the wall, allowing for uninterrupted views of the night sky and the great views of the surrounding archipelago.
