A swarm of 15,000 Butterflies seized Fondazione Adolfo Pini in Milan.

These flying animals populated the spaces and walls.

They were creatures of black paper that were part of the exhibition of Carlos Amorales.

The exhibition focused on the black cloud of life-size installation, which included the swarm of butterflies.

GAS by Guillermo Santomá for RIMOWA

 

RIMOWA joined again with the contemporary art magazine and the kaleidoscope creative studio, which resulted in a multi-platform project.

This time, he took advantage of the talent of the Spanish designer Guillermo Santomá, who translated the aluminum housing into an installation inspired by a service station.

This, in the center of the installation entitled "GAS".

Santomá created a car with RIMOWA aluminum panels, combining art and function in a surreal way.

With an evolving spectrum of colors and sounds in motion, the affinity of Sony in the immersive installation of autonomy was explored.

Through five distinctive spaces.

Each scenario, from an initial awakening to a friendly partnership, offered different interactions.

These interactions pointed to build and strengthen an emotional connection between humans and robotics.

This installation is a pilot project started in 2018. It is about creating a fertile place to map future design directions.

The central room of the warehouse was surpassed by amorphous pieces that subverted the traditional concepts of form.

Here, the ideas of domestic spaces were destabilized and they were supplanted by the designs with experimental methods.

Nomadic objects by Louis Vuitton

 

The prestigious house of French lijo, added pieces of atelier biagetti and zanellato / bortotto to its collection of Nomadic Objects.

With this, he joined the line of renowned designers, such as India Mahdavi, Patricia Urquiola and Tokujin Yoshioka.

The pieces were unveiled in the neoclassical palace Serbelloni in an exhibition that presented the entire collection. As well as the previous editions re-proposed in new colors and materials.

Here, the dimly lit rooms were illuminated by vibrant tones, including the “bomboca” sofa-puzzle of the Campana brothers.

Which was in fluorescent yellow and the suspended chair "cocoon" covered with red faux fur.
