Franz kline He completely appropriated his art and that made him unequaled.

It is associated with abstract expressionism, the truth is that its stroke is seen as powerful and intense.

In addition, those who knew him claimed that he was an action painter and completely spontaneous.

He was born in Pennsylvania on May 23, 1910 and studied painting at Boston University.

He later settled in New York where he would begin his first paintings in oil and watercolor.

It reached its creative maturity around the 40s and 50s. 

His most notorious plastic work was in black and white, although he also experimented with other shades.

His pieces, dynamic and to some extent dramatic, show a very personal and profound form of expression.

The influence of his art reached different artists, some, constructivist sculptors.

He died on May 3, 1962.
