A multicultural artist who questions reality: Alia Ali

Ali Ali is a multimedia artist who was born in Austria in 1985, but it has a cultural mix that nourishes its proposal.

At her young age, the creative Yemeni-Bosnian-American has traveled through 67 countries, lived in seven and developed five languages.

The images presented undulate between the photography Traditional and digital storytelling.

Through fabrics, prints and anonymous figures defies standards and perceptions.

His visual language vibrates and reveals the experiences that shaped it.

It seeks to question the place of origin of people, as well as the processes that unite or separate us.

It also launches political or identity messages as a pretext for issues such as borders, duality, illusion and reality.

The interpretation varies from person to person, but complies with questioning so that the viewer generates a self-reflection.

Its sensitivity acts like a mirror that cannot be avoided.

Currently the artist lives and works in Los Angeles and Marrakech.
