The major architectural firm leaded by the renowned architect Zaha Hadid, unvieled plans to build a new institute in Cambodia, which will be known as Seluk Rith Institute. This is the first building to be carried out in the location, and also the first made of wood. Its design is inspired by the wealthy families living in the countryside, and seeks to redefine the traditional architecture of the region. The new institute will support the local community and the professionals in development area. It will have a Museum of History, a Research Center for development policies and human rights studies, among other facilities.
