YUKO TAKADA KELLER’S MOLECULES OF PAPER

The installations are not new, being part of contemporary art. Their boom was in the early 60’s, some representative examples are Marcel Duchamp, Nam June Park, Wolf Vostell to name a few. Today we can see that installations have progressed according to technology. However, there are artists who use classic materials, as is the case of Yuko Takada Keller and her close relationship with the use of paper in the performance of her works. The artist has experimented with different types of paper such as tracing or trace, and washi parchment. Transparency and ethereal are symbolized in self-paced 3D works with triangular pieces that simulate molecules generating a space of purity and naturalness.
