Xpan Doubles with Primula is a project of analog photography by two photographers who are thousands of miles apart. The session was conducted by both artists with a Hasselblad Xpan camera and one roll of 35mm , Fuji Velvia 100F, which was sent by courier to work it. While Kristin Hempel (aka Primula) photographed several ancient areas of Bamberg, Germany, Victoria Gray (Vici) was interested in making architecture photograms of Reno, Nevada. Thus, the outcome of the project was overlapping shots of mixed landscapes and architecture of both cities as well as obtaining various color ranges through the emulsion of the slides.
