It’s amazing that with a tube, two or three mirrors and small colored crystals can form an optical instrument as interesting as the kaleidoscope. Although many consider a child’s toy, the images produced are worthy of a mathematical or physical study. Either way, it’s fascinating what hides inside, but what would happen if we could introduce in it? Kaleidoscopic Light Installations is the name of the project by Danish artist Olafur Eliasson, who through huge mirrors, tinted windows, steel plates and candlesticks created bulbs that simulate kaleidoscopes. The result is a fantastic atmosphere, a room that transports to another world.
