The firm Vincent Callebaut Architecture, has designed 45 villas in Kunming, China, which operated with self-sustaining energy, as part of an environmental project to promote healthy lifestyle. Called as Flavours Orchard, these “mini-cities” have a natural and organic design, and occupy an area of 90,000 square meters. This development is planned to be replicated throughout China, both in urban and rural areas. The intention is that each space count with a garden on the roof. Moreover, within these villas may be used only electric vehicles. Each mini-city will have power through their own solar panels. This is one of the many architectural projects, which are expected to be seen in the near future.
