Victor Demarchelier, son of photographer Patrick Demarchelier, begins to emerge in the field of photography. He has worked for publications such as Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. In his first exhibition, Creating Images, which took place in New York, the protagonist was the model Caroline Trentini, is revealed as a future promise of photography. In this exhibition Victor showed his passion for black and white images. Although Victor has his own style, suggests some influences by Patrick, such as showing that aesthetic impeccable in his photographs.
Victor Demarchelier began work in 2008. Although his work has focused mostly on fashion editorials, and ventured into some books look like those of Hudson Jeans and Barney’s New York. He currently lives and works with his father in New York.
