Tom Reznikov is a graphic designer for 29 years, graduated from visual communication design at the Academy of Wizo Haifa in 2011. She created a series of surreal illustrations called Islands, by using digital photos and collages, with techniques such as watercolor, pencils and lines to add textures and depth. The result is a series of fantastic worlds, where it is very easy to be lost.
Although much of the inspiration for Tom Reznikov comes from nature, industrialism is a topic that catches her eye, so Islands reveals a nature intervened by the artificial. With her work, the artist shows us how the conflict between fragile (nature) and solid (urban).
