The Test Kitchen opened its doors in late 2010. Led by chef and owner Luke Dale-Roberts, this site was considered by specialized media as one of the best restaurants in the world. The reason: Not only has a spectacular decoration, but this site is unique, exotic and with creative dishes. Located in Cape Town, South Africa, this place surprised us with its gastronomy: a blend between oriental food with a European flair in presentation. The sauces enhance the flavors stand out because of all the dishes, especially the lobster. Coffee is also perfect with a Mediterranean flavor. In 2013 The Test Kitchen was considered by a specialized media as the “restaurant to follow for 2014” and the decision is not surprising as it is a rare culinary proposal.
ABOUT THE CHEF : Luke Dale-Roberts was born in England, he worked in the best restaurants in Switzerland, before opening his first restaurant in Singapore. It now has restaurants in Malaysia, South Korea and the Philippines.
