Valissa Butterworth is the creator of The Mod Collective, an Australian firm specializing in the design of ceramics. Merging technology and traditional ceramic, Butterworth develops each concept in software design, and then print them in 3D printers. Then she molds and fixes each piece by hand, for which uses colored porcelain. With a variety of colors, ranging from black to white, she makes unique each piece of the tableware. She has also developed a line of lights, with lamps made of opaque ceramics, and other translucent in 3 versions: Marquise Pear, Marquise Medium and Marquise Min. The designs of The Mod Collective, provide the opportunity to use an art with so much history and tradition, but with a twist of modernity and a spark of color.
