In a fascinating sculpture entitled Once made by James Dive, we see a whole amusement park crushed into a cube of 4 x 4 meters. James Dive is a member of The Glue Society, an independent creative group based in Sydney and New York. The sculpture was made to be exhibited to the sea in Aarhus, Denmark. It is the largest outdoor sculpture of Denmark and along the coast of Aarhus. This year, the exhibition featured 60 sculptures from around the world. Once is the cube that contains everything including rides, stalls and prizes, which invites us to become aware of waste and energy spent in amusement parks, and ask how conscious we are about it.
