The Creators Project was born in 2010 as a collaboration between Intel and Vice amid concerns of Intel’s to boost the creative-technological sector. The idea came about largely thanks to their reputation as producers of chips, that becomes the driving force of much of the creative and technological tools in today’s world. During the early years, The Creators Project laid the groundwork for creating a platform for artists that triggered a major creative explosion in recent years, with collaborations, commissioned works and follow up all new media artists. The Creators Project has worked with hundreds of innovators like Pedro Reyes (Disarmed), Daft Punk, Michel Gondry, Ai Weiwei, Queens Of The Stone Age, Olafur Eliasson, David Blaine, Four Tet, XO Studio, M83, Karen O, The Postal Service, Richard Ayoade, Bot & Dolly, Pharrell and Fabian Oefner, to name a few. At present there are more than 500 artists from around the world participating in this project, artists whose works and careers have been disseminated by this platform.
