Fifteen hundred cups of coffee on red hues (simulating a swirl) are part of a beautiful installation called Gateway to the perception that took place in 2012 on Paseo de la Reforma in Mexico City. Nescafé, in conjunction with the firm Rojkind Architects, commissioned 8 artists: Francisco Serrano, Mario Schjetnan, Bernardo Gómez-Pimienta, Fernanda Canales, Manuel Cervantes, Alejandro Quintanilla and Alejandro Castro, to develop installations with the basic requirement of using an maximum of fifteen hundred metal cups of coffee.
Did you see the installation? What did you think?
