Sotheby’s announces its auction of Surrealist art. The event will take place in London on February 6. Wonderful works of Postwar European masters, American artists and others of great importance in the contemporary world will be auctioned. Among the works is the still-life by Fernand Léger, 1928. Chagall participates in the sale of art, as Modigliani, Paul Alexandre, the cubist María Blanchard and Henri Matisse. Not only Surrealist artists, but will also have a section of Impressionist and post-Impressionist, which has a Degas pastel of bathers on the beach and four landscapes by Pissarro and the great colors of Kandinsky with gouache technique. There will also be available for bidders sculptures, including works by Brancusi, Miró, Moore, Arp and Hepworth.
