The name of the latest project of US photographer Stephen Orlando, is Motion Explosure, and in it he uses long exposure in combination with movement.
The main idea of the project, according to the creator, is to capture the notion of time and space within the frame, using as resources different devices with LEDs and with the support for third-party in the use of the kayak, at least in this series. About his work, Stephen Orlando states: “My photos focus on motions in nature and in urban landscapes, as well as human movement. I am inspired by the works of Étienne-Jules Marey, Anton Giulio Bragaglia, Gjon Mili, and Frank Gilbreth and their pioneering techniques”.
