Considered the Spanish Banksy, the street artist SpY, resident in France is responsible for “Glow”. Spy urban left his mark on the wall of the Library of Science and Sport Bouloie campus di Besançon in France. This botanical mural was created by pruning the Virginia creeper (Parthenocissus tricuspidata) circular shaping leaving intact the vine branches to ensure their growth. The project is part of Good Urbain: Artistic route through urban spaces. About SpY. “SpY is an urban artist whose first urban performances began in the mid-80s. Soon after, already acclaimed as the leading figure in the graffiti scene, he began to explore other forms of artistic communication in the street. His work consist in appropriating urban elements through transformation or replication commentary on urban reality and meddling in its communicative codes”.
