Between stress and chaos of everyday life, we often imagine that we escaped to an earthly paradise where noise rest and nature protects us with its serenity. Beyond our imagination, in the islands of Con Dao in southeast Vietnam, is the spa and resort Six Senses Con Dao, a hidden space in one of the most beautiful islands in the province of Ba Ria-Vung Tau that offers quiet walks to enjoy the sea, light dinners of one and an atmosphere of complete tranquility.
The Six Senses Con Dao has 51 villas with pools of different styles, from simple to duplex villas with one, two, three, four or five bedrooms, mainly semi-covered bathrooms and some with private spa. Its design is intended to achieve greater energy efficiency, minimizing the use of air conditioning and maximizing natural ventilation. Considered an ecotourism lodge, with its commitment to environmental protection and preservation of the cultural, architectural design blends with the spectacular natural scenery. All villas were built with wood framing and strategically placed in the natural slope of the dunes, with the result to ensure the spectacular ocean view.
The Spa rises among the mangroves in a natural environment of rare beauty, where internationally trained therapists provide unique Vietnamese treatments along with rejuvenation therapies to balance the body and mind. A series of hallways and rooms therapies recreate an idyllic retreat, ideal for relaxing between panoramic river and forest.
Another of its main attractions is the recreation of a typical market in the main area around the hotel. Within this replica, are traditional stands that expose the local craft and carpentry shops offer.
As for its cuisine, guests can enjoy seafood dishes prepared with local ingredients in its various restaurants located near the beach or pool, cafeteria Vietnamese – furnished with traditional furniture –and the terraces.
