With a photographic aesthetic that vaguely alludes to a famous painting by Ilya Repin, American digital artist Sam Breach has made this series of images entitled Siren Songs, created during a trip to Iceland. In the photographs that make up this series, Icelandic landscapes allow the stage to become the seabed that we see when we think in those mythical, mysterious creatures, and with a beauty beyond description. Breach worked in the company George Lucas’, Industrial Light and Magic, in projects such as Star Wars, Pirates of the Caribbean and other hit movies. Siren Songs is his first solo project, and the beginning of a great career in artistic photography.
