In recent years the architecture from Australia has surprised many, including judges at various international competitions. As an example we present one of the newer buildings; it is the GASP (Glenorchy Art & Sculpture Park), located in southern Tasmania. Designed by the firm Room 11 Architects, combines the contemplative atmosphere of the interior and the view from the outside, forming a compositional element of the landscape. The walls were built with concrete and glass, so one can see the skyline of the Elwick Bay from withinm and can appreciate the changes of color shade depending on the amount of sunlight.
