Ron Arad (Tel Aviv, 1951) es un diseñador industrial que estudió en la Academia de Arte de Jerusalén y en la Escuela de Arquitectura de Londres.

Ron Arad (Tel Aviv, 1951) is an industrial designer who studied at the Jerusalem Academy of Art and the School of Architecture in London. In 1981 he opened his own design studio, “One Off Ltd.” in London with Caroline Thorman and began producing  unconventional handmade furniture, made ​​mainly from welded sheet steel, distinguished by a distinctly sculptural. He has worked for various brands such as Alessi, Vitra, Flos and Artemide. Many of his designs are in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Vitra Design Museum in Germany.
