PATRICK JOUIN: BLEND BETWEEN DISCRETE AND MODERN

Patrick Jouin (Nantes, 1967) is a French designer whose designs are characterized by BEING discrete and modern. After finishing his studies at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Design Industriel (ENSCI) of France in 1992, began his career with Thomson Mulimedia, and years later worked on the study of Philippe Starck. In 1998 he opened his own agency, which performs interior design, product, scenery and architecture. Patrick Jouin attaches great importance to the care of the details, always driven by the pursuit of utility and functionality supported by its innovative and stylish designs. His poetic style combines the traditional with the contemporary, light with motion, color with the drama. His designs have been exhibited at MoMA in New York, in the Mudam Luxembourg, and the Pompidou of France.
