OVO Architects (OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci) is a firm with offices in Katowice, Poland. It aims to integrate the interior design to architecture and urban planning. Since 2002, the firm has won more than 30 national and international awards and distinctions for its architectural excellence.
OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci presented the Museum of Fire in Żory. This cultural center, located in the small town of Żory and near a main road, has a spectacular reflective facade of gold, which seeks to simulate flames and hypnotize like fire. The interior is also impressive, because it has a lobby, a multifunctional space, one for exhibitions and a large conference area. The materials used inside were concrete and cement covered with a silver material.
OVO Grąbczewscy Architekci also sought out an organic shape for the building, resembling as a flame. In the morning, the interior is illuminated by large windows; at night, the lights of cars so light and make it colorful.
