Kristina Varaksina is a Russian-born photographer who lives in New York and alternates stays in San Francisco, California and Moscow. Her greatest passion is art photography, and this phrase explains why it is so important to her: “There’s so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I’m seeing it all at once, and it’s too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that’s about to brust”. In the series, Origami Editorial, Varaksina uses monochromatic backgrounds and props made from paper, which emphasizes geometric shapes and colors that enhances the objects in the composition.
