Nicolas Barrome is an urban artist born in France, raised in the Basque country and who studied at the School of Applied Arts in Bordeaux. After his academic life, Barrome entered the world of illustration with Jeanspezial group. With increasing experience in the field of urban art and painting, Barrome had the opportunity to experiment with other techniques such as engraving, a method that had great influence on his graphic production using patterns and textures with great detail. The theme of his work includes giant octopus, talking dogs and fruit with human characteristics that interact with elements of pop culture that make social criticism. Barrome does not considers himself as an expert in the drawing, however, he can not imagine doing anything than the creation of images that cause a positive impact to the viewer.
