NASIR AL-MULK: KALEIDOSCOPE MOSQUE

Islamic art manifests from the most basic aspects, such as calligraphy, to the grandeur of sacred spaces. Muslim architecture has always been an example of aesthetics and space power, and the Mosque of Nasir al-Mulk, located in the Iranian city of Shiraz, is a beautiful piece. This place of worship was opened in 1888 and is in the care of Nasir al Mulk’s Endowment Foundation. Inside we can find stained glass, carpets and tiles that make up the beautiful Islamic calligraphy with colors symbolizing the believer’s spirit.
