MUSIC: DESIRE + CHROMATICS + SYMMETRY

Certainly sounds are something that we can not let go at any time of life… only in space, as would Cuarón  Therefore, our recent weekly recommendations include music sounds incomparable artists we consider to be a good accompaniment at all times. On this occasion, we recommend you listening to three projects together: Chromatics, Symmetry and Desire.

Chromatics is an electronic band from Portland, Oregon formed in 2001 . The band is formed by Ruth Radelet, Adam Miller, Johnny Jewel and Nat Walker. The last album of the band was Kill for Love released in March 2012.

Desire is an electronic band from Montreal and Portland, Oregon. Desire debuted in June 2009 with the album II under the record label Italians Do it Better . The lyrics are written in both English and French. Fact British music magazine listed the album as the 14th best album of the year. The song ” Under your spell” is a favorite of both fans and talent, because if you saw the movie ” Drive”, 2011, can identify that the theme is part of the soundtrack. Desire is integrated by vocalist Megan Louise, producer Johnny Jewel, also member IDIB Glass Candy and Chromatics, and Nat Walker ( Chromatics member ) on synthesizer and drums.

Jewel and Walker are also instrumental duo called Symmetry, (also members of Chromatics), who released the EP The Messenger and the LP Themes For An Imaginary Film. Symmetry has performed at private events around the world for fashion lines like Gucci and Chanel.

Three projects with melancholic, pink and very energetic sounds.
