The Colombian painter, Marcello Castellani has explored various techniques to finally find his own production line. Being student and with work done in pencil, acrylic and illustration, he decided to investigate the relationship between photography and pixel. This led him to his first solo exhibition entitled Hilados, a deconstruction of the photographic image in pixels.
By studying different production techniques under the tutelage of master Camilo Calderon from Bogota, Marcello Castellani looking, in his own words, to represent his life experiences through painting.
Soon, his drawings in ink, in which he works with the concept discussions, and under the theme of madness, they formed part of the exhibition MalENTENDIDOS presented in Mexico City, which is his second group show with other Colombian artists.
