LYGIA CLARK: THE ABANDONMENT OF ART

The Museum of Modern Art, presents a large retrospective, dedicated to Lygia Clark (Brazil, 1920-1988), the first full exhibition of her work in North America. Lygia Clark: The Abandonment of Art, 1948-1988 comprises around 300 pieces, created from late 1940 until her death in 1988, coming from public and private collections, including the ones from the MoMA. This show is organized around three key themes: the Abstraction, the Neo-Concretism and the Abandonment, of art.
