Laurie Bartley generates a shock sense with her images. Introduced in everyday contexts, the models are taken away from high editorial photography to soak in than usual. From public pools until ballet dancers, images of this photographer produce a sensory shock. Born in Essex, England, Bartley began early age her passion for photography. The English capital opened the doors to a cosmopolitan world where magazines like The Face, Dazed & Confused and Pop were the ideal locations to spread his art. Her publications have achieved worldwide fame and include Vogue UK, Vogue U.S., Vogue Espal, Vogue Russia, Vogue Japan, Vogue China, among others. She has also worked on advertising campaigns for Max Factor, Tod’s, Ermenegildo Zegna, Bulgari and Diesel, which won a prize.

She has exhibited work at the V & A Museum in London and the Centre of Photography in New York.
