The designer Laura Daza, based in London, has focused her artistic exploration in the use, capabilities and natural origin of colors. They have shades and tones that evoke moods and emotions, but as Daza says, it seems as if we had forgotten their origin. Being an industrially produced for mass consumption, in the process colors have lost their original semantic and emotional reminiscence. Colour Provenance is a visual investigation that reinterprets the origin of the color pigments and whose intention is to recover and appreciate the ancient alchemical techniques and color rituals.
