De Koning began this project with an installation which compacts a series of angled walls with doors and windows, allowing visitors to browse through the different structures. Located on the terrace of Turner Contemporary, walls incorporate changes between the levels of floors and concrete walls. The perpendicular surfaces, including 3D spaces between walls and windows, are painted in different bright colors that refer to traditional tents on the beaches in the UK. The labyrinth is located outdoors to allow light throw shadows on the surface during the day. The purpose of the structure is to create a space in which can be appreciated the architectural symmetry, and the importance and variation of color.
