The Kentucky Crafted is the Kentucky Arts Council event produced annually in the spring with the highest artistic quality, crafts, literature, music, film and food. Its 30-year tradition of excellence has not gone unnoticed. More than 150 artisans are selected to participate with their works and creations during the three-day event held this time from March 1 to 3. Buyers have an opportunity to place orders directly with producers in Kentucky, orders of traditional and contemporary art, music recordings, films and specialty food products. Doors open to the general public for the last two days to buy the work in the retail market. Shoppers can find art and crafts most extraordinary artists of Kentucky, participate in practical activities in the Kentucky Music Festival Stage with some of the state’s most beloved musicians and performers. Kentucky is one of the few states in the nation that sponsors such a program for art and craft business. Fair has been named number one in the country four times by the readers of AmericanStyle. The Southeast Tourism Society has named a Top 20 events for 15 years. It will be held from March 1 to 3 at the Lexington Convention Center, 430 W. Vine St., Lexington, Kentucky.
