June Leeloo (1980) is a French artist who takes Asian literature, Japanese anime, Art Nouveau and the purity of the designs of the Belle Époque. The vast majority of her works are inspired by Klimt, Mucha, Schile and Cassatt. Through drawing and pastel paintings, Leeloo presents charming female figures, full of melancholy and sensuality. Each of them is associated with a flower and elegance reminiscent of Japanese geishas. These graceful and innocent girls take us to dream and mysterious worlds. Leeloo integrates the world of purity and sensuality, blending and unifying contrasts whose limit varies smoothly in the composition.
