The photographer Julieanne Kost captured unexpected symmetry on a scale of purples in San Francisco Bay. This series of aerial views made by the California photographer were taken from a plane on a trip she made in this area. The palette of violet tones is not the result of digital manipulation: the water takes the color through a process in which microorganisms living in these salt ponds, change color according to the level of salinity in the water. Besides being a photographer, Julieanne has worked since 1992 in Adobe®, also having a successful blog in which she offers tips on Photoshop and Lightroom.
