What would have been of the art without its main characters? Jose Manuel Ballester takes some of the most famous works of art with the aid of a digital retouching and painting, he removes the protagonists. He leads our attention to backgrounds, landscapes, architecture and nature that surrounded them before.
Ballester is a Spanish painter and photographer who studied Fine Arts in the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. He has a special interest in the techniques of Italian and Flemish school, and is specialized in architectural photography. In 2010 he won the National Photography Award by the Ministry of Culture in Spain, by his personal trajectory.
